About John Jenkins

Chief Instructor at LJMA
I’ve been riding motorcycles for over 26 years. My passion has grown for this sport throughout those years and when I approached a training school 16 years ago and started my career as an Alberta Transportation Certified Motorcycle Instructor, it only got better! Riding a motorcycle is a continuous learning process and I thoroughly enjoy practicing every day.
Passing on my knowledge to students and seeing their enjoyment while riding around the track really cements the reasons for getting into this sport. No matter how long you’ve been riding, there’s always something you can learn!
My speech when training experienced riders is “check your pride at the gate, this is the place to make mistakes”. You only get better by practicing. I currently ride a 2019 Harley Davidson CVO Road Glide and a 2016 Harley Davidson Police Road King.
